Dallas, TX – Amplified Minds, a Dallas nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free mental health services to the creative community, is proud to present its first Louder Than Stigma Fest, an evening of live music, art, and community connection taking place Saturday, September 6th from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at The Kessler Theater.
Headlining the inaugural Louder Than Stigma Fest is Dallas’ own Cure for Paranoia. Known for their high-energy performances and genre-blending sound, the group will also use the occasion as a release event for their new single, “No Brainer.” “No Brainer” drops September 4, followed by an upcoming EP “Work of Art”, in October.
Opening Louder Than Stigma Fest will be Dallas Sounds Amplified featured artists Sam Cormier, Gracen Wynn, and Remy Riley.
“This event is a testament to the power of supporting our artists and investing in their futures. By raising funds for Amplified Minds, we’re strengthening the ecosystem that allows local talent to thrive. Together with Kessler Presents and the Dallas Music Office, we’re creating an environment where artists choose to make Dallas their home, helping to support a vibrant and lasting music scene.” – Kristina Kirkenaer- Hart, Dallas Music Office
Louder Than Stigma will also feature a custom jacket auction, showcasing one-of-a-kind pieces designed by local visual artists. Artists including Chris Bingham, Bubba Flint, India Hearne, Lewellyn’s Print Shop, Corey Godfrey-Moulton, Clay Stinnett, and more will each transform an upcycled jacket into a wearable work of art that will be auctioned off during the night.
“For every $100 raised, a dozen people receive access to free mental health care,” said Lauren O’Connor. “Louder Than Stigma is a powerful intersection of music, art, and mental health—breaking stigma, building connection, and making healing accessible to all. Free mental health services are not a luxury—it’s a necessity, and events like this help ensure no one is left behind.”
