Longhorn Jubilee – 3/2 Texas Independence Day – featuring Toadies, The Band of Heathens, Bob Wills’ Texas Playboys under the direction of Jason Roberts, and more, presented by KXT and ZiegenBock

Celebrating Longhorn Ballroom ‘s 75th anniversary, the venue will host a series of events honoring the iconic room’s past, present, and future. Dubbed the Longhorn Jubilee, these all-genre events will unfold both inside the Ballroom and outside in the Courtyard, combining music with food trucks, local vendors, brand activations, and more; this celebration highlights the curated programming and eclectic community spirit that has brought fans and musicians to the Longhorn for three-quarters of a century.
The Longhorn Ballroom was built in 1950 for country music legend Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys and was originally named Bob Wills’ Ranch House. It was once managed by Jack Ruby. Later renamed the Longhorn Ballroom, it has hosted legends like Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, Charley Pride, Patsy Cline, and George Jones to B.B. King, Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, James Brown, and Selena.
In 1978, the Longhorn was one of six U.S. venues the Sex Pistols played on their only U.S. tour.  Tickets and info.
